Opportunity For Young Female Writers Aged 11 - 16

If you have ever dreamed of being a writer then you will know that it take both talent and opportunity!  Barbara Taylor Bradford has joined forces with The Sunday Times to help discover the next generation of young female writers. The competition to find a short fictional story about friendship has a closing date of Friday 3rd July 2015. 

Barbara Taylor Bradford who now has an OBE published her first story at 10 years old and says:
"I feel it's critical to reach out to young girls and women who want to share a story they have created and inspire a new generation of female writers and readers". 
Barbara will be judging the competition alongside a number of other authors including 15 year old published author Helena Coggan who released her book The Catalyst in February 2015. 
Stories are to be no more than 1,000 words and there are a number of prizes to be won including free books, publishing opportunities and the chance to attend a master-class with Helen herself!
