Urban Musician Age 16 - 25? Win Studio Time With The Mixtape Project

Are you a talented rapper or singer aged 14 – 25? Have you
ever wanted to get your voice heard and get into a recording
studio? This could be your big break!

Leaders of The New Skool Talent show 2014 run by The Mixtape Project South East London presents an opportunity for you to win:


1st Place – Winner gets to record a Mixtape and 1 music video filmed by Link Up TV
2nd Place – Winner gets 8 hours free Studio time and an in Studio Music Video
3rd Place – Winner gets 3 hours free Studio time and 1 in Studio Music Video

Talent Show Takes place at 5pm August 29th 2014. Anerley Town Hall SE20 8BD

 submission criteria:

The event:

1st round. You'll get 1 minute to show that you can rap. Semi-Finals. You'll need to perform a song good enough to get you into the finals. Final round. You'll need perform another song good enough to win!

The Rules:

1. No swearing, so all songs and lyrics must be censored and be under 3:30 mins long 2. The songs have to have 3 verses and 3 Chorus's 3. All beats for Semi-Final and Final round must be original

Guidelines:

Rappers - You’ll be judged on your lyrical flow, content and ability to create a song in the correct format, which must all match the instrumentals you choose to perform with.

Singers - You'll be judged on your ability to sing in the correct key, the concept of the song and its way of captivating the audience, which must all compliment the instrumental. For the 1st round you can either perform accapella or with a backing track of your choice (which doesn't have to be original)

Other Information:
